The Role
We are looking for a full-stack engineer who can help us build great experiences for our venture into web3. You will be responsible for building and implementing the backend for a web3 integration project. This role is perfect for someone who is well-versed in web2 software development and wants to make the jump into web3. This is a full-time position.
Build an interface that will allow our website to interact with the blockchain and the iOS app ecosystem.
Develop internal tools that will allow the team to manage the deployment and maintenance of the web3 project.
Support our iOS development team with small-scale backend operations using Google Cloud Functions.
Write and deploy smart contracts to the Ethereum blockchain (or the opportunity to learn it on the job).
Minimum Qualifications
3+ years professional experience with backend development. Solid understanding of Python or JavaScript backend frameworks, including knowledge of modern tooling and development best practices.
Development experience on cloud computing platform (GCP).
Professional experience building web services.
Good verbal and written communication skills (English).
Passionate about the potential applications of blockchain technology and decentralized applications.
Nice-to-have Qualifications
Knowledge of Ethereum and how it works.
Previous web3 work is preferred (e.g. solidity/web3.js/hardhat).
Experience with Firebase and Google Cloud Platform is a plus.
Ability to architect cloud infrastructure.
